Decorating for Halloween is such a kick. It's cheesy and quirky and fun. I'm dying for a life size skeleton on the front porch. I might be able to get away with it this year. Last year my youngest was way too scared of anything skeletal to even think of bringing one home. When we went to Costume & Display Supply he cried every time because of the scary entrance at Halloween. But this year, this could be my year.
What I know I can get away with is rats. Creepy, red eyed rats. The kids think they are a little spooky but not actually scary. Using inexpensive rats from the dollar store and orange candles, I turned them into creepy candle holders perfect for Halloween.
